Professor Layton

Layton found the zombie apocalypse most puzzling. And there's nothing a gentleman likes more than a good puzzle. If one is bitten by four zombies and each of those zombies bite at least four times, except one that only bites the colour yellow, how long does it take for one to turn?

Happy Christmas!

Hope everyone has a fantastic zombie-tastic Christmas (and other holidays)! Don't forget though - with snowy and icy conditions, escape options in the event of zombie apocalypse are limited so stock up on canned goods and shotguns and stay prepared.

Thanks to everyone who has visited Too Many Zombies! Especially iZombie, who has given my little zombies some great mentions and is partly responsible for the motivation to go beyond my initial run. If anyone has any requests for future zombies in 2011, just let me know.

Happy Christmas!

TRON LEGACY zombies: Underezzed Castor

Castor's End Of Line Club, the highest point in the system, quickly became a safe haven. The thing about safe havens, though, is that they attract those looking for safety. And those looking for safety are usually desperate and stupid. And so the safe haven wasn't safe for long.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

TRON LEGACY zombies: Underezzed Jarvis

Didn't mind what side he was on as long as it was the winning side. Joining the ranks of the underezzed nice and early was a smart move then.

Tuesday, December 21, 2010

TRON LEGACY zombies: Underezzed Rinzler

Clu's head of security. Which is kind of ironic because the thing that turned out to be least secure was his head. Bashed open by the living derezzed, the corruption spread instantly.

TRON LEGACY zombies: Underezzed Daft Punk

Two MP3 programmes caught up in the panic. They just kept doing what they do - making sure everyone else went out listening to good music.

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

TRON LEGACY zombies: Underezzed Sam Flynn

The son of Kevin Flynn found himself inside the system after trying to uninstall Norton Anti-Virus. 48 days later he gave up and took an "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" attitude. Poor timing, what with the virtual zombie apocalypse and all.

Monday, December 13, 2010

TRON LEGACY zombies: Underezzed Clu 2

Designed to oversee the Grid. But what he oversaw was the virtual zombie apocalypse.

Friday, December 10, 2010

TRON LEGACY zombies: Underezzed Flynn

The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Vampires? Werewolves? No... zombies.

And then one day, I got in.

Thursday, December 9, 2010

TRON LEGACY zombies: Underezzed Jem

Once known as a Siren. Which is rather appropriate now because, when you hear her wail, it's best to steer well clear.

Wednesday, December 8, 2010

TRON LEGACY zombies: Underezzed Quorra

Grid warrior. Spent most of her life thankful that she didn't have to wear one of those stupid hats they wore back in the old days. But those stupid hats might have prevented that bite on the back of her head.

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

TRON zombies: Underezzed Tron

A security programme who finally took out the MCP. Survived the games, a hunt, a fall and a giant Sark. The one thing he hadn't counted on was... zombies!

Monday, December 6, 2010

TRON zombies: Underezzed Flynn

Once a user (of computers, not drugs - although he may have done drugs too, seemed like the type). Flynn was trapped inside the computer world when the outbreak began. Some say he had powers. But if he was so great, why was it Tron who destroyed the MCP? Why?!

Saturday, December 4, 2010

TRON zombies: Underezzed Yori

Once in charge of digital simulations. Now in charge of wandering around moaning and groaning. She leads by example.

Friday, December 3, 2010

TRON zombies: Underezzed Sark

Command Program Sark was one of the first to rise when the system was rebooted, bringing to life all those previously derezzed. When there's no more room in the recycle bin, the derezzed will walk the system.

Henry Heavenbound

Angel zombie in a tracksuit. Where do zombies go when they die? Only dead zombies will ever know.

What's coming on Twitter today

If you're on Twitter today (Saturday), I'm going to be tweeting some new zombies. A zombie tribute to Tinchy Stryder's Game Over video, which features Giggs, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah, Devlin, Example and Chipmunk.

You'll see them later on my Twitter so follow me here -

Don't worry if you miss them - I will of course be posting them here too very soon!

Percy Rumpshaw

Spent all morning looking for his Blackberry. He really should have been looking for a shotgun.

This is a new zombie I posted on my Twitter the other day. It's done using the Brushes app rather than Layers, hence the difference in look. That's because I maxed out Layers with the number of zombies I did and it won't work any more.

I'l be posting some more on Twitter soon, along with some oldies I never posted before and some zombie bits and pieces. You can follow me at

#375 Adam Maxwell

Adam Maxwell - Alive

Searched for a safe haven, a new family. Such thing didn't exist. Humanity was gone, urban centres deathtraps. But, where humanity never touched, Adam found life alone. Safe, quiet. Peaceful.

Tuesday, August 17, 2010

#374 Eve Edenworth

Eve Edenworth - Deceased

Escaped with the injured survivor, a man she hoped to start a new life with. She didn't make it. As nature took over the broken compound, a dead Eve returned to Eden and would never leave.

Monday, August 16, 2010

#373 Specimen Omega

Specimen Omega - Deceased

Easily the strongest of the Alpha/Omega project. And the most angry. Yeah, he had anger issues. Lost his temper something rotten. Trapped under the compound he destroyed, Omega would never escape. And never die.

Sunday, August 15, 2010

#372 Bud Bulletheimer

Bud Bullethemier - Deceased

Had just one mission when he left the Major's camp - to survive. But he soon found a new mission, his last chance for glory. If he had one regret, it's that he didn't find time to paint his face all camouflagey, because that's plain cool.

Saturday, August 14, 2010

#371 Becky Edenworth

Becky Edenworth - Deceased

Her fondness for Hawaiian shirts hid how strong a leader she was. She was thankful for the commando who would hope to trap the beast in the basement, allowing her daughter and the injured survivor, Maxwell, to escape to safety.

Friday, August 13, 2010

#370 Lance Burke

Lance Burke - Deceased

While the stray commando led the beast deeper into the compound, Lance helped others to escape. He would never make it out himself, though a section of his throat would be later found almost a mile away.

Thursday, August 12, 2010

#369 Sylvester Ungo

Sylvester Ungo - Deceased

Someone made an awful mess of his room. And his body.

Wednesday, August 11, 2010

#368 Phileas Moon

Phileas Moon - Deceased

Felt safe in his bedroom. No shambling wreck could make it through the defenses at Eden. So it was somewhat of a surprise for Phileas when something smashed through the wall and tore him to pieces.

Tuesday, August 10, 2010

#367 Bruno Broomfeld

Bruno Broomfeld - Deceased

It didn't look like much from the outside but Bruno knew what he was guarding was humanity's best hope for survival. Besides, he loved playing soldier. Marching, shouting and all that.

Monday, August 9, 2010

#366 Zed Sharpie

Zed Sharpie - Deceased

By the beach lay a safe haven. They called it 'Eden'. Zed guarded the shore. A sharpshooter, he could take zombies out from two miles away. But he was no good when one got all up in his face.

Sunday, August 8, 2010

#365 Naut Driftwood

Naut Driftwood - Deceased

Wandered the sea bed for days before surfacing near the cave entrance. He had become a whole ecosystem for sea life. As a commando survivor passed by, he stopped at Naut for a rather nice seafood salad lunch.

Saturday, August 7, 2010

#364 Sal Blanco

Sal Blanco - Deceased

Those lurking in the depths of the caves soon lost their colour, their eyesight. But not their desire for flesh.

Friday, August 6, 2010

#363 Jiminy Jobbins

Jiminy Jobbins - Deceased

Destined to be meat at the bottom of a pit, Jobbins ran to the safety of the caves. But that one bite had sealed his fate. Now, he wanders around in the dark scaring those who pass by. Like a haunted house ride, only with more death.

Thursday, August 5, 2010

#362 Dave Benson

Dave Benson - Deceased

Those not in the military who wandered into the camp all suffered the same fate - food for the Major's playthings. The remains of Benson ended up guarding a cave to salvation. One commando would make it through to the other side.

Wednesday, August 4, 2010

#361 Tiger Denkins

Vern "Tiger" Denkins - Deceased

One of two commandos to go against the Major. Denkins put up a good fight down in the pit. Good, but not quite good enough.

Tuesday, August 3, 2010

#360 Grill Langley

Grill Langley - Deceased

Private Langley wasn't dead when he was thrown into the pit. He wasn't even injured. His only crime was questioning the Major. Still, he ate better at the bottom of that pit than he had above in the camp.

Monday, August 2, 2010

#359 Major Hugo

Henry Hugo - Deceased
The Major enjoyed the apocalypse. The fear kept his men in line and he ruled like an Emperor, even if some of his subjects were very dead. Shame he never got to light that last cigar.

Sunday, August 1, 2010

#358 Rabid Jupitus

Rabid Jupitus - Deceased
The Major's pet zombie. The Major made sure he was fed twice a day and, for the most part, Rabid behaved himself. Just like when he was alive.

Saturday, July 31, 2010

#357 Rusty Renfield

Rusty Renfield - Deceased

Had a good laugh at the dumb rotters stumbling around the Major's zombie pit. Those 'dumb rotters' were once his teammates but he liked them better dead.

Friday, July 30, 2010

#356 Kelley Socketpop

Kelley Socketpop - Deceased

Was the Major's favourite, until he realised she was female. He just wasn't good around ladies - they made him nervous. Though wandering around camp with her eyes hanging out made everyone nervous.

Thursday, July 29, 2010

#355 Lester Bucket

Lester Bucket - Deceased

Secured the perimeter. Didn't know what a perimeter was, but he made damn sure it was secure. So at least they didn't have to worry about the zombies outside the camp.

Wednesday, July 28, 2010

#354 Burt Spamburger

Burt Spamburger - Deceased

Only stayed in the military because he had no place else to go. Well, the food was good too. Besides, the Major seemed to have everything under control.

Tuesday, July 27, 2010

#353 Percy Pencilneck

Percy Pencilneck - Deceased

When it came to his injury, Private Pencilneck went with the 'don't ask, don't tell' approach. So it was a bit of a surprise for all concerned when he turned out to be dead.

Monday, July 26, 2010

#352 Raymond Maxwell

Raymond Maxwell - Deceased

Somewhere deep down, he knew he would never see his sons again. But still, he would wait with her. After all, she made a mean bacon sandwich and that's worth a lot during an apocalypse.

Sunday, July 25, 2010

#351 Lotta Maxwell

Lotta Maxwell - Deceased

She promised never to leave the house. Her two sons said they would come and get her when they found somewhere safe. Weeks later and very dead, she still waits by the door.

Saturday, July 24, 2010

#350 Nob Scrag

Nob Scrag - Deceased

Some people just make for ugly zombies. Nob Scrag made for an ugly human too so at least he was used to people recoiling when they saw him.
